Tools and Approach

Citywest has developed a Rapid Application Development framework which we call FrameWorx RAD. It has been built using open industry standard technoloy including .NET from Microsoft and and Cold Fusion from Macromedia. It also forms the backbone of our FrameWorx Distribution System.

FrameWorx RAD handles all of the rich communication, database, security and presentation function requirements of todays internet based systems. It allows us to very quickly build complex data driven applications which suit your individual requirements whilst integrating, in real time, to your existing systems.

For example one recent project involved an order entry, stock and job entry system to be accessed by interstate staff, agents and customers over the web. Using the Frameworx RAD capabilities it was possible to build the system in under two weeks along with real time integration to the existing Head Office Arrow Accounting system.

The rapid deployment that Frameworx makes possible means return on investment (ROI) figures can often be measured in periods of months rather than years. Resources can be freed up to concentrate on revenue raising activities rather than internal non income producing functions.
